Cyber attacks are now one of the biggest risks for Australian businesses of every size, and the sessions here are made for the people who have to manage that risk, not just the IT team.
Sessions explain how attacks work, from phishing and business email compromise to ransomware and AI-generated scams, and what to do about them. Banks and firms present research on how prepared Australian businesses are; government programmes and mentors walk small businesses through the basics. There are sessions for accounting and advice practices protecting client data, and for boards on what to ask management.
Cybersecurity sits close to privacy and data, as data breaches are both a security and a privacy problem, and to risk and resilience and board governance. For the wider cybersecurity topic, including sessions listed under other industries, see its own page.
Mostly they're for business owners, managers, finance teams and boards. They explain the threats and the practical steps that reduce them, such as the ASD's Essential Eight, without assuming a technical background.
The Australian Signals Directorate's cyber.gov.au has free guides for small business, and state small business bodies, banks and business groups run free webinars and mentoring sessions. Several are listed here.
Registration always happens with the host. Each listing links straight to the organiser's own sign-up page, and CMD/CTRL never collects your details on their behalf.
Every time is shown in Sydney time first, with Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth alongside. Each listing also has an Add to calendar link that converts to your own time zone.
Many are. Each listing shows its cost as Free, a price in AUD, or N/A when the organiser doesn't publish one. You can see only free webinars, or combine industry, topic and cost on the full list.
Every morning. New listings are added as hosts announce them, and webinars that have finished drop off at the next update, so everything here is still to come.
Yes, and it's free. Send us the details and we'll check it and add it. Featured placement is also available.
