About financial services webinars

Financial services webinars come from adviser associations, accounting and advisory firms, banks, insurers and risk institutes. A large share carry CPD.

Advice practice

Financial advice and wealth sessions cover technical strategy, AFCA case studies, client care and the ethics of advice. Payroll and super and tax sessions keep advisers across the rules their clients' strategies rely on.

Regulation and risk

Firms and institutes brief on compliance and regulation and risk and resilience, including operational risk, scams and fraud, and cybersecurity for financial businesses.

Insurance

Insurance sessions cover workers compensation, business insurance and cover for not-for-profits, for brokers and for the businesses they advise.

Markets and the economy

Banks and firms run regular sessions on the economy and tax policy, budgets and the outlook for rates, useful for anyone advising clients on what's next.

Frequently asked questions

Do these webinars count towards financial adviser CPD?

Many do. Relevant providers must complete at least 40 hours of CPD each CPD year, spread across set areas such as technical competence, client care and practice, regulatory compliance and professionalism and ethics. Where a host says a session is CPD-accredited, the listing shows how much it's worth.

Are there webinars on AFCA decisions and regulatory change?

Yes. Adviser associations regularly run sessions on AFCA determinations and what they mean for practice, and firms brief on changes from ASIC and Treasury. See compliance and regulation.

How do I register for these webinars?

Registration always happens with the host. Each listing links straight to the organiser's own sign-up page, and CMD/CTRL never collects your details on their behalf.

What time zone are the times shown in?

Every time is shown in Sydney time first, with Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth alongside. Each listing also has an Add to calendar link that converts to your own time zone.

Are financial services webinars free?

Many are. Each listing shows its cost as Free, a price in AUD, or N/A when the organiser doesn't publish one. You can see only free webinars, or combine industry, topic and cost on the full list.

How often is this page updated?

Every morning. New listings are added as hosts announce them, and webinars that have finished drop off at the next update, so everything here is still to come.

Can I list a financial services webinar here?

Yes, and it's free. Send us the details and we'll check it and add it. Featured placement is also available.
