The health webinars on CMD/CTRL come from colleges and professional associations, primary health networks, national commissions and government departments, and the wellbeing and safety providers who work with health workplaces.
Colleges and associations run clinical updates for their members: new care plans and guidelines, emerging evidence, and programmes practitioners can bring into their own practice. Primary health networks run local sessions for general practice and allied health.
National commissions and the health department consult on and explain new standards, such as safety and quality standards for virtual care, along with changes in health and aged care policy and funding.
Health workers carry a high load. Sessions on mental health and wellbeing, leadership and culture and work health and safety look after the people delivering care, and sessions on digital transformation and compliance cover running a practice or service.
Many health webinars are run by colleges, associations and primary health networks and can count towards your CPD. Registered practitioners must meet the CPD standard of their own National Board, and where a host says a session is accredited or carries CPD, the listing shows it. Check your college or board for how to record it.
Both. Clinical sessions are aimed at practitioners, while sessions on standards, workforce, work health and safety and digital health suit practice managers and health organisation leaders. The description says who each one is for.
Registration always happens with the host. Each listing links straight to the organiser's own sign-up page, and CMD/CTRL never collects your details on their behalf.
Every time is shown in Sydney time first, with Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth alongside. Each listing also has an Add to calendar link that converts to your own time zone.
Many are. Each listing shows its cost as Free, a price in AUD, or N/A when the organiser doesn't publish one. You can see only free webinars, or combine industry, topic and cost on the full list.
Every morning. New listings are added as hosts announce them, and webinars that have finished drop off at the next update, so everything here is still to come.
Yes, and it's free. Send us the details and we'll check it and add it. Featured placement is also available.
