CMD/CTRL

Privacy

What we collect, who we share it with, and how to opt out.

Last updated 12 October 2026.

Cookies and analytics

CMD/CTRL uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google details such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We see only aggregated reports, never who you are. You can block it with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We show ads served by Google AdSense, which pays for the site.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of other vendors' cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
  • Google may also allow other ad networks it has certified to serve ads here. You can see and opt out of them through the links above.

How Google uses information from sites that use its services explains this in more detail. If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalised ads or analytics cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time.

Featured listings and ads sold directly by us are labelled, and don't track you.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, your email address goes to Kit, the service we send it with, and we use it only to send the newsletter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.

Listing a webinar

If you submit a webinar, the form is handled by our host, Netlify. We use your contact details only to check and publish the listing and to contact you about it.

Registering for a webinar

When you register you leave this site, and the host's own privacy policy applies. Registration links carry tags that tell the host the visit came from CMD/CTRL. Those tags contain nothing about you.

Server logs

Netlify keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Your choices

We don't sell personal information. To see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, or with any question about privacy, email hello@cmdctrl.tv.
